SUN: Ice plants need a considerable amount of full sun to ensure that they flower profusely. Be sure to provide them with at least six hours of direct sunlight.
SOIL: Dry soil with excellent drainage is essential for an ice plant. Sandy and gravelly soils are ideal for this plant.
TALL: Grows up to 3–6 in. tall, 12–24 in. wide.
BLOOM PERIOD: Blooming continuously from late spring to fall.
USES: Deer resistant but attractive to butterflies. Excellent addition to border fronts, rock gardens, coastal gardens, banks and slopes or naturalized areas.
